Hello ,
Thanks for your visit on this page , one year after my last activity 3XD02,
I decided return in Rep of Guinee, but this time, I will be QRV from Kamsar, and also/P on IOTA new one AF...I will be on air from Tristao isl (Lat: 10.88º N Long : 14.99º W Area: 226.4 sq. Km ) .
The coastal zone between the border with Guinea Bissau and the Rio Komponi, about 70km west of the city of Boké, northwesternmost Guinea and 300 km capital Conakry.
I arrive to Conakry 18 april 2004, time to taste some local speciality, to make provisions for the few 400 kilometers which separate Conakry to Kamsar, I go to Kamsar 19 april...
70 km separate Kamsar to Tristao isl , there is no road, just a dirt track, impossible to go there when it rains,approximately 4 hours of way before arriving on the island. On Tristao, no electricity, just a little fisherman village if I use car battery, will be very difficult to go to reload them
has Kamsar SO ON AIR DISCIPLINE WILL BE APPRECIATE ! When car battery will be low power I'll must return to Kamsar for to reload.
Second solution, I thinks buy an generator , expensive, but it's the best solution for a maximun time on the air.

NOTE !
On 3XD02 and J5UAT, I remenber many stations from EUROPE made QRM , call in same time dont listening when I call etc etc ..... (listening American and Japenese stations, and make the same thing)
Two solutions: I'll use split mode, 5 up by number and QRP stations ,or all stations 5 to 20 up.
I'll made my possible for give my call after 5 stations in my log . I'll use log paper, please,only one call in log , when I'll come back, if I found 3 same callsigns on same band, I delete...
Don't forget , I will have approximately more 150 kg luggage (battery, generator, water, food ,gasoline) , I know it, that will be very difficult, also, at this month temperature more 40 °c .
